The Groom's Timeline: When to Buy and Fit Your Wedding Suit in Dubai

The suit is the easiest part of a Dubai wedding to get right — if you start on time. Here's the timeline our stylists recommend to grooms, based on decades of dressing wedding parties at our Al Maktoum Road boutique.

8–12 weeks out: decide the look

Settle the big questions while every option is still open: tuxedo or suit, two-piece or three-piece, classic navy or a seasonal tone. Indoor evening reception? Black-tie works year-round. Outdoor or daytime? Lighter cloth and colour — see our summer collection.

6–8 weeks out: buy and coordinate the party

Order the groom's suit and lock the groomsmen's look at the same time so cloth and tone match — we coordinate the whole party in sizes 42–70 through our Wedding Party Service. One WhatsApp message with your date, party size and colours starts it.

3–4 weeks out: first fitting

Visit the boutique for measurements. Quick adjustments — hems, sleeves — are often done in about 30 minutes; structural work such as waist adjustments or tapering takes up to 4 days, and this window leaves room for both.

Complimentary alterations on every suit ordered online — in-store purchases quoted in boutique.

1–2 weeks out: final fitting and collection

Try the finished suit with the exact shirt and shoes you'll wear. Collect it, hang it properly, and you're done — no wedding-week panic.

Running late?

It happens. With UAE delivery in 1–3 business days and while-you-wait hemming at the boutique, we've dressed grooms inside a week. Message us on WhatsApp with your date and we'll tell you honestly what's possible.
